Who Should Get Shingrix?
There is no upper age limit for Shingrix vaccination, and it is suitable for the following groups :

• Those who have previously had shingles and recovered.
• Those who have received the older generation of shingles vaccine (Zostavax). Please consult your doctor to identify the best time to get the new generation vaccine.
• Those who have previously received chickenpox vaccine.

You are suggested to consult the doctor prior to receiving the new generation shingles vaccination as some groups may NOT be suitable, such as :

• Those who are currently pregnant;
• Those who are currently having shingles; 
• People who are suffering from a moderate or severe acute illness, with or without fever, should wait until recovery before getting the vaccine
